Microsoft unveiled their new operating system today — Windows 7 — which many are hoping will be an improvement on Vista, which was widely criticized for its lack of speed and small memory.
As David Pogue at The New York Times wrote yesterday, “It keeps what’s good about Windows Vista, like security, stability and generous eye candy, and addresses much of what people disliked.”
Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer, who’s known for getting seriously excited about new products and ideas, was on The Today Show this morning to talk more about the new system. Here’s that clip:
